Miguel Cotto’s Father Died in Heart Attack
In the recent news, the former champion Miguel Angel Cotto is now sad because his dad Miguel Cotto Sr. was announced dead according to a Puerto Rico TV news. Miguel Cotto Sr. was said to be suffering from heart disease and asthma and he have died of heart attack while he is driving in Caguas in the Oscar Cash & Carry.
It seems the death of Miguel Cotto’s father should be blamed on 911 service on this incident because ther never responded to Douglas Melendez’ emergency call. Douglas Melendez is a young bartender who found the old man’s body suffering from a heart attack and he calls 911 for rescue for so many times but it turns out that 911 Service is not responding to his calls. At 3:15 pm Miguel Cotto Sr. died on Douglas Melendez’ arms and he didn’t know that the man he’s helping is Miguel’s father.
Miguel Cotto is very close to his father and he is present on Miguel’s fight against Manny Pacquiao last November 14, 2009.
